In December 2010, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In June 2013, I was diagnosed with kidney cancer. In March 2014, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. In March 2015, I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Four cancers in five years. Those five years included multiple surgeries, treatments, and tests. Though these things do not define who I am, they have had a significant impact on my life today. Without my faith, family, and friends, I would never have gotten through the past four years. This is MY JOURNEY.
I was encouraged to start a blog after the diagnosis of my bladder cancer in 2014. What started off as a simple information update to friends and family, has now turned into this website where I can share with you my JOURNEY. My desire is not just to share my story, but to hopefully help and encourage others that are going through their cancer journeys. I encourage you to take a look at some prints that have been designed by my daughter, Victoria. I love them, as they are quotes from songs and scriptures that have meant a lot to me these past four years. A portion of the proceeds earned for these prints will be going to the Canadian Cancer Society.

If you are looking to find out a bit more about my story, you can check out my original blog here. It includes updates on my JOURNEY in 2014. This blog has been more of a blessing to me, than anybody else. I have been encouraged by so many people offering their support and prayers for my family and I. God has brought so many people into my life through this blog that I have been able to connect with and share our JOURNEY together. I want to thank each and every one of you who have followed along with me and supported me.
